version conversion thread

Respected Sir,


My name vijay mani doing research in bologna university. I am new learner of Labview software.

We are using labview version 5.1 for temperature measurement instrument in windows version 95.
The Field point FP 1000 , Field point explorer version 1.6 and RS-232 port is using.
while running lab view 5.1 program for temperature measurement, I received one command

"connection to the acquisition board was not found"

I plan to run the above program in labview 11.0, so i convert my main program file probe.vi from 5.1 to 11.0, finally when i run probe.vi in 11.0, i received errror message as

Details :
The subVI is not executable. You must fix all errors in the subVI before this VI can run.

This mesage forum is just for requesting VI's to be converted. 

 

If you are having problems with getting your LabVIEW code to run, then you need to post your message in the regular LabVIEW forum. Read Conversion Board Rules!

 

You need to dig into all of those subVI's and see what about them is causing them to be not executable.

 

My guess, did you install the latest Fieldpoint drivers?  Version 1.6 is ancient and I'm sure doesn't work with LabVIEW 2011.
