Re: Upconvert from LV 5.1 to LV 2011

Respected Sir,

Thank you very much for yur helping.

I would kindly request you to help me regarding importance of field point.

I am just now learning Labview 11.0,

I need to use labview 11.0 and carried out enthalpy probe for temperature measurement which is running before in Labview 5.1.

Kindly tel your suggestion written below

  • Install the software field point (field point explorer the older version among those present in the cd), in case you decide to use the version 11.0 we will install the latest version, if you adopt this last hypothesis must also update the firmware of the field point via software (see maximum care to avoid power failure at the field point when you are doing this operation).

Thanking You

Yours friendly

M. Vijay

Re: Upconvert from LV 5.1 to LV 2011

You really need to post that question in the FieldPoint forum.  This forum provides help in getting files converted as a favor, but to answer specific question about a product, you need to post in the forum dedicated to that product.

Is that statement you posted originally written in another language then translated to English?  If so, it is a rather poor translation.  The phrase "if you adopt this last hypothesis" makes no sense and is completely out of context with anything around it.

Start a new message in this board to ask for your conversion. Don't tack it onto the end of someone else's request, otherwise it will be overlooked.

Re: Upconvert from LV 5.1 to LV 2011

Missing Sub-VIs is just no problem if you don't want to use them in your actual application.

You could check from the VIs name in the context help window where they are from. Maybe it is some intrument driver missing?

However, if you are faced with other issues then Up- or Downconvert then please post your questions to the LabVIEW forums, not here.
