Re: Conversion From 5.1 to 9

[ Edited ]

You were already told that your VIs were referencing vi.lib functions that were stored incorrectly in an llb. Those traditional DAQ functions MUST be removed from the llb first. Then, if you were actually successful in installing traditional DAQ, you should be able to find them.

I know for a fact that those files you attached are not what you get when you install the last traditional DAQ version.

Re: Conversion From 5.1 to 9

I appreciate it if you explain it a little bit more or give me an example to know that I exactly should remove which VIs from the libraries.

Thanks again for your help.

Re: Conversion From 5.1 to 9

That information is in the mass compile report that I provided. Look for all the lines that have <vilib> in them. These indicate VIs that LabVIEW was expecting to load from <vilib>, but instead found them in the LLB. This amount to basically the entire "DAQ" folder, as well as a smattering of other VIs.

Re: Conversion From 5.1 to 9

I removed the TDAQ VIs in the libraries, but it still needs TDAQ VIs for some sub-VIs and when I browse the TDAQ VIs, LabVIEW says that they are too old and also some are not executable. I think I'd better change all of them with DAQmx. Do you have any ideas about that issue?

Thank again

Re: Conversion From 5.1 to 9

I think our devices are old and they do not support DAQmx!

I honestly have no idea what you are doing. What do you mean when you browser the TDAQ VIs LabVIEW says they are too old? If you installed Traditional DAQ (from the installer - do NOT simply copy the files from one machine to another), then there should no issue of "too old".

Re: Conversion From 5.1 to 9

I mean when I open the main, LabVIEW cannot find some Traditional DAQ VIs, for instance, “AI sample channels”. When I browse it (where 1easyio.llb is installed)  it says the VI is too old and cannot be opened, that’s the problem.  I also did not copy the Traditional DAQ files, I used my windows XP mode and I installed it since my OS is windows 7 and there is no TDAQ for windows 7.

thanks again for your reply
