Will NI-VXI version 3.0 or greater work with LabVIEW 4.1?

Trying to eliminate "width not supported" errors with large block VXIMove's. The readme files for NI-VXI 3.0 and greater report in the Fixes and Release Notes; "Block moves should no longer incur excessive PCI retries. In the past this caused errors (type -9, erroneously identified as "access width not supported") on many newer workstations."

JDH,

It might be possible to get VXI-3.x to work under LabVIEW 4.1, but it is not a supported programming environment. The problem that you will run into is that all of the VIs and functions are compiled in version 6.0, so if you wanted to get that to work, you would have to have a computer with version 6 and then save them as an older version, which would be very hard. If you were to upgrade to a newer version of LabVIEW you would be able to use the newest driver. If you check out:

http://ni.com/labview/

On the right hand side, you will see Upgrade Now. This will give you all of the information about upgrading your version of LabVIEW.
