We use the VXI PC 872B processor with Win2K to drive our VXI system. The processor has 512 Mbytes of RAM on two DIMMS. The support programs are:
LV RT 7.0
CVI RT 6.0.4.105
NI-CAN 2.1.1
NI-VXI 3.2.1
NI-VISA 2.6
What would we need to do to change the OS to Windows XP Pro? If memory must be expanded, what will it take and how much will it cost?
Thank you for your help.

Hi Thomas,
The system requirements of our software shouldn't change based on the operating system. Also I checked the Microsoft site, Windows 2000 and XP have similar RAM requirements so you should have a similar amount of RAM available to your application in both OS's.
If you already have 512Mb of RAM that is as much RAM as we (NI) offer for your controller, but as I mentioned above it should not be an issue.
Thanks
