Hi uni-pixel,
Which version of USRP are you trying to install?
I have checked the compatibility of the NI-USRP 14.0 http://www.ni.com/download/ni-usrp-14.0/4999/en/ and it seems it supports Windows 8.1 and nothing is mentioned for Windows 8.
However based on the following article http://www.ni.com/white-paper/14281/en/ NI-USPR 1.2 is supporting Windows 8 (32 and 64-bit), but with 32-bit software (e.g LabVIEW). In the readme file of the NI-USRP 1.2 it is not written that it supports Windows 8, so I would like you to test it.
Here is a link to download the 1.2 version: http://www.ni.com/download/ni-usrp-1.2/3696/en/
Please take into account that the software supports Windows 8 64-bit, but do not support usage in 64-bit software (e.g LabVIEW)!
Best,
Bozhidar

Hi
I use http://www.ni.com/download/ni-usrp-1.2/3696/en/
my labview version is 64 bit and my windows is 8.
so you mean i should use 32 bit software in 64 bit windows 8 and it works?

Hi uni-pixel,
Yes, this is exactly what I mean. If you install 32-bit software you will not have any issues using it in 64-bit Windows. The difference between 32 and 64-bit is the RAM you can use in your application. If you do not need to use more than 4 GB of RAM, then you are safe .
You can read more here: http://www.ni.com/white-paper/10383/en/#toc1

Hi
but in the driver it is not mentioned that it support windows 8?

Hi uni-pixel,
Yes, it is not mentioned in the readme file. However, based on the White Paper, it should work, so try it, with 32-bit software, out and let me know.
Best,

Hi Bozhir
Well, I have not tried to download the USRP because I am right now in a country which IP is blocked by NI. I mean I do not have access to download it.
BUT some features still is not coming . like MT pulse shaping. vi . I do not think that MT pulse shaping, vi has to do anything with USRP driver?
SO , Your solution is not working . I used 32 bit version of Labview.
what should I do?
