Hi all,
the "niUsrp Fetch Rx data.vi" does output signal in baseband or in the carrier frequency set-up by the "niUSRP Configure Signal.vi"?
I will use it to make a mixer "via software", in radar application, and I have to know if the correct way for mixing Tx and Rx signals is to take directly the output of the "niUsrp Fetch Rx data.vi" or if I should downconvert this signal.
Thanks,
Giube

Hi giube,
the niUSRP Fetch data.vi returns the signal in the frequency set by the niUSRP Configure Signal.vi. You should not need to downconvert the signal for your application.
Hope this helps,
Corrado

Thank you Corrado,
this is what I feared...
What is the best way to downconvert the signal in baseband via software (not using external RF components)? I mean to use it to calculate the beat frequency with transmitted signal?

Hi Giube,
have you tried with the example you can find in LabVIEW? There are a couple that come up when you search for DDC, but the most appropriate for your case is probably the "niScope EX OSP Downconversion.vi.
Let me know if that can work out for you!
