USRP error

Hi, everyone

I just installed the latest USRP Driver 1.2 and updated the image and firmware, however, after running for a while, following errow shows up

niUSRP Configure Signal.vi<ERR>A runtime or configuration error occurred.
Code: 1440
Details: RuntimeError: fifo ctrl timed out looking for acks

How can I handle this problem ?

Is there any  possibility that the hardware would be damaged  with updating the image and firmware ?

Hello,

i just updated my NI USRP-2920 to the latest version (NI-USRP 14.0) and I got the same error message when I wanted to run a program.

I am using LabView 2013 and I tried the Loopback test with the files "niUSRP EX Tx Continuous Async.vi" and "niUSRP EX Rx Continuous Async.vi" (from C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2013\examples\instr\niUSRP) and got the following error:

Error -1074118627 occurred at niUSRP Open Tx Session.vi

Possible reason(s):
A runtime or configuration error occurred.
Code: 1440
Details: RuntimeError: fifo ctrl timed out looking for acks

I also tried other programs (utilizing the NI USRP-2920) but still got the same error.

Do you have any idea how to solve that problem?

Thanks in advance!

Florian

Hi,

i had the same problem.

Try to disable all firewalls you have installed. And restart LabView (run as administrator).

This was the solution in my case.

Good luck,

Florian
