USRP N210 connect via GIGABIT SWITCH

Some info:

• The N210 will not show up in MAX
• The N210 only supports static IP addresses and will not participate in DHCP
• Check out the USRP getting started guide http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/376358a.pdf about Setting Up The Network if you haven't already. This lists how to configure the device/host.
  • The host and USRP have to be on the same subnet
  • The USRP needs its IP and subnet mask manually set

After that, you can use the USRP through a switch.

It is not an NI-DAQmx device, it is a RIO device and appears under Remote Systems not My System. Note: you will need to be directly connected to the USRP from the Computer for this stage since we will be modifying the network settings and have only been able to connected via this method.

The N210 is not a RIO device. And it does not have an RT controller so it will not show up under Remote Systems in MAX.
