Some highlighted features:
- Support for configuring 8-bit sample width for transferring data over the bus, which can increase streaming rates and allow higher I/Q rates
- Support for fetching and writing binary data waveforms
- Support for programmatically discovering devices in the system and their model information using the niUSRP Find Devices VI
- Support for controlling multiple devices in a single session (for use in MIMO applications)
- Support for locking the local oscillator (LO) to a user-specified frequency and controlling the carrier frequency independently using the digital signal processor (DSP)
- Support for reconfiguring gain, carrier frequency, and active antenna while an acquisition or generation is in progress
