PXI-2527 Is Not detected as DAQ device in NI-MAX

Hi,

I have PXI-2527 in my Chassis and NI-MAX is not detecting it as a DAQ device.

rather it is deected only as a normal PXI device listed.

what could be the possible cause for this?

2527 is not a daq device. It is a switch, It is correct if it is being dispalyed as a module in one of your PXI slots in MAX.

While the PXI-2527 is not a DAC or ADC device, it is supported by the NI-DAQmx driver.  If you need help programming the switch in NI-DAQmx, open C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW X.Y\examples\DAQmx\Switches\Switch.llb

The NI-Switch driver is a bit more intuitive, so I'd recommend installing it if you're just getting started.  Once installed, the NI-Switch examples are here: C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW X.Y\examples\instr\niSwitch
