I have to build a device with SMUs and high channel count for a 4-wire resistance measurement.
In a matrix, I need 8 rows (4 two wire) and >=140 columns. Voltage is 5V and current is 100mA.
This leads to 2x NI 2833 (1x A-Type and 1x B-Type) in a SwitchBlock as a good solution.
But I can't figure out how long will it take to connect these 4 two wire rows to 4 two wire columns typically. It is written in the spec that operate time is <5ms, but what is typical when using the .NET switch api? It is also mentioned, that the relays in a card can't operate simultaneously. This seems to result in very slow operation overall.What can I expect?
