Is the 1127 switch working?

when i try to check through MAX the status of the switch i receive the following errors:

1- Using the Soft Panel niswitch and choosing the 'test' option i receive this message:"initwithoptions failed";

2-In one of the MAX menus we can do a test on a certain device. when i do that in the SCXI-1000 i receive this message: "Failed to find SCXI-127 in slot 4 (0x5). Slot 4 is empty"
I receive this, in spite of slot 4 being occupied by the 1127.


It's possible for you to understand this problem only with this information?

How are you connecting the 1127 to the switch controller, cable, adapter etc?
What is your switch controller?
is the chassis in traditional DAQ or DAQmx?
Was the 1127 ever recognized?
Is the chassis on?

If you get "Failed to find the SCXI-1127 in slot..." it means that the 1127 was at least recognized once (in order to appear in the chassis in MAX the first time) and that you lost communication with the chassis when you tested it.
