Hardwire/AnalogBus Selection in Route Editor Window

We are building a duplicate of an automatic test system that we have already designed and for which we have developed the software.  We have three SCXI-1129 connected to give a 4X192 switch matrix.  Some of the routes must go through the backplane paths ab0, ab1, ab2, or ab3.  When trying to edit a route that already exists or establishing a new route, the edit window for the analog bus connection will not open up to allow selection of ab0, ab1, ab2, or ab3.  Only one option shows and no others can be accessed.

Just installed the latest version of switch executive (2.0 ??) which came with the latest shipment of LabVIEW 7.1.

Can you help me resolve this matter?  Thanks for your help.

Eugene,

Could you take a screen shots of the problem and add comments on the image and repost? Also can we have your ivi config file as well a the exported NISE configuration file?

Thanks

Eugene,

I saw the screen shots that you sent to Scott. The selection box is to choose another Hardwire between two abx. In your case you only have one Hardwire configured between each abx so you will only see one selection.

If you are going from columns to columns of 2 different SCXI-1129 then NISE will select the row, the com and the ab since you marked them as "reserved for routing'. Once the ab is selected it will route to the other SCXI-1129 using the Hardwire created and since there is only one hardwire per abx, only one selection is available.

If you want to use another path and hardwire row->com->ab->HW->ab->com->row then you can change the number of all the rows, coms and abs in the string below the window:

[SC1Mod1_ivi/c0->SC1Mod1_ivi/r1->SC1Mod1_ivi/com1->SC1Mod1_ivi/ab1->SC1Mod2_ivi/ab1->SC1Mod2_ivi/com1->SC1Mod2_ivi/r1->SC1Mod2_ivi/c0]

This will selected the corresponding hardwire.
