I have different accelerometers that will be used for various testing, the question I have some of the accelerometers have outputs in the area of 500 mv/g and some in the 100 mv/g and even some with 4 to 5 mv/g outputs currently I am using software that was created by someone else and is based on the accelerometers with the 500 mv/g output and he has a custom scale for this. Do I need to have a custom scale for the other accelerometers? If so how is it calculated? The hardware is a NI 9234
