how to find the bandwidth of a signal in Labview signal express

Hi,

I am a beginner trying to process and analyse a waveform from a DPO3032 digital phosphor oscilloscope (300Mhz, 2.5 Gs/s) to a PC using Signal express.

Now i have the required signal in the "step setup", which is almost similar to the oscilloscope display.

Doubts are:

1) How to find the bandwidth of the waveform, in Signal express.?

2) What are the steps to be following for taking FFT?

3) The wave form changes simultaneously when i change it in the oscilloscope under the "data view " tab. Is it possible to get the same display under "step setup" too? What i get is a full waveform, where my signal of interest is very small.

Note: I am using 17Mhz ac signal at the input of the oscilloscope.

Thanks in advance.

Livingstone Arjunan.

This section of the manual should help:

As far as getting the same data view display on oyur setup tab, I'm not sure if you can. If had to guess the answer would be "no."
