TDS 2024B

 Hello All,

Here i am trying to communicate with Tectonics TDS 2024B CRO using signal express v2.5 through USB interface.

In signal express, whenever i am selecting IVI session name with tktd1k2k drivers (downloaded from ni.com), and then trying to initializing, it is showing configuration error shown below.

(Error -1074134949 occurred at ivi_IviScope Initialize With Options.vi
Possible reason(s):
Driver Status:  (Hex 0xBFFA005B) Primary Error: (Hex 0xBFFA005B) File not found.)

But when i am using Tekvisa software, it is working well.

Need suggestions to remove this bug.

Hello Puneet,

Are you using the IVI steps or the Tektronix specific steps to communicate with your device? National Instruments and Tektronix partnered to create specific steps better tailored to their devices. You can download them from:

This installer will also fix another problem you may be having. SignalExpress does not work with TekVISA, so if you have it installed, this is likely the cause for your problems. This installer will remove TekVISA and install NI VISA.
