Subtract one signal from another

Hello NI SignalExpress community,

I am new to Signal Express. I would like to measure the coolant temperature of one machine sub-system. The difference of temperature and the coolant flow rate would enable me to measure the power dissipated. Could someone tells me how to substracte two signals? I would like to see in real time the temperature difference. Thank you for your time.

Create a Statistics step (under Analysis> Time Domain)
Check the box next to mean (uncheck min/max if you want)

Create a Formula step (Processing> Analog Signals)
In the Formula step Input variable 0 should be signal 1 (x0)

Check the Enable 1 box to add a second variable (x1)
In the formula Y=x0-x1
This will be your Processed Data which can be drag and dropped into a graph and viewed however you want; ie, graph, numerical, temp gage, etc.
