Strain Values HELP

Hi all,

I am new to labview signalexpress and labview itself. I am working onn a project using strain gages to measure strain on a jacking device beam. I am using a NI cDAQ-9172 with NI 9205 I/O module. I have my wheatsone bridge circuit connected and i startup LV Signal express, click on add step, click on strain and put the display window showing only the active channels i am using. But i really dont know what are the values shown. Because i see values ranging from 2.2m to 2.4m.

I want to know what values are those, millistrain?? And the values i am looking for are 2.5x10^-4

Any help will be appriciated i need this urgent!

Hello Jcol91,

I found this tutorial that will help you with the correct setup and configuration of Strain Measurements in the Measurement & Automation Explorer, after that you can use LabVIEW or Signal Express to perform the acquisition.
