Software Trigger set by alarm is not seen in Log start/stop conditions

AHH the frustration....

So it seems to me that in SignalExpress you should be able to create an alarm Action  when a signal reaches a certain level to generate a software trigger.  Then you should be able to trigger a log start condition on this software trigger.   Unfortunately, this does not work for me.  Can anyone confirm?

My intent was to have like 3 or 4 alarms that all generated  software trigger A.  Then when the Alarm turns off, It would Trigger B

Then my start condition for the log was trigger A and my stop condition was trigger B.

I think that this is a bug, or this hasn't been implemented into signalExpress yet.

Your thoughts?

Hi, Ben Yeske.

The functionality that you're looking for can be found in the Limit Test in Signal Express (Analysis»Test and Compare).  You can use two Limit Tests:  one can act as software trigger A and the other can act as software trigger B.

Let me know if you need any more help.  I hope you're having a great day!
