Signal Express Error - Please install or repair Log Version Check Component

Hi,

I  installed Signal Express 2.5.1 and I already have a LabView7.1 installed on the machine.  When I am trying to open a .seproj file,

I am getting the following error message.

Error occured while opening file "C:\..... .seproj"

Components of the LabVIEW SignalExpress are missing.  Please install or repair the following:

1) Log Version Check Component

I tried reinstalling the Signal Express and the same error appears again.

Any solutions is highly appreciated.

What version of Signal Express was this project created in?

This error can occur if the version that the project was created in was later than the version you are trying to open it in.  For instance if the SEPROJ was written in 3.0 and you are trying to open it in 2.5.   This is more often than not the cause of this error.
