Set PXIe 4330 Exitation Voltage to Zero?

Hi,

I was wondering if there is anyway I could set the  PXIe 4330 Exitation Voltage to Zero in Labview as a safety precaution when wiring the card?

I have tried to do so with the DAQmx Reset Device.vi but it has no effect.

As well, I tried DAQmx Create Channel (AI bridge).vi with the Voltage exitation value set to zero but that returns an error.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance :smileyvery-happy:

Re: Set PXIe 4330 Exitation Voltage to Zero?

Hi,

Instead of setting the Vex value to 0, try setting Excitation Source to "None" instead of internal or external. Hope this helps!

You may want to repost this in either the DAQ or LabVIEW forums.  SignalExpress is a completely different product than LabVIEW.
