I am trying to read a strain gauge signal; however, the output signal appears with a lot of noise, in the range of 5 mV. For readings, I am using the latest version of LabView Signal, so I think I have the latest drivers for the devices.
The strain gauge is connected to the Device SC-2043-SG, which is connected to a DAQCard-6062E using a cable 106838C-01. The DAQCard is attached to a laptop.
Based on other responses, I have grounded all the unused channels (CH+- to EX-).
I appreciate very much any comment.
I am attaching a figure showing the noise.

Gonzalin,
What is your input sensitivity (microstrain/Volt)? Your graph looks like bit-toggling to me - switching between zero and +/- of the least significant bit. Since the 6062E is a 12-bit card, for a 20 volt range (+/- 10 volts), the LSB is 4.9 mV. That would seem to be the cause.
Either pre-amplifying the signal, or reducing your input range should improve the voltage resolution.
