How do I disable Signal Express Eval ver running when USB inst. is plugged in?

I need to disable the auto-running of SignalExpress everytime the USB gets plugged in or the Instrument crashes.

This is very frustrating when debugging Labview crashes relating to the an instrument.

I am running Windows XP Ver 5.1.26000

SignalExpress is version 2.5.1 Eval with 14 days before it runs out.

While not directly related the instrument is a Tek FCA3000

Alternate solution ......is how do I remove the eval version of Signal express and still retain the Lite version.

Hi John,

To disable the Signal Express launcher, follow the steps given in the knowledgebase Prevent Auto Start of Measurement & Automation Explorer or Signal Express for USB. The other would be removing the program from your system.

Have a good day!

Thanks for the info.

Tried it but still launching eval version. I will wait until 30 day period runs out and see what happens then.

regards johnc
