PXI 5402 Error 239021 at Self Test

I receive the error "Error -239021 occurred at Device Self Test
Possible reason(S):
Internal Hardware Error occurred in MIG hardware. Please contact National Instruments Support." on my PXI 5402. It is in a PXI 1000 chassis connected to a Dell Latitude D600 by Cardbus-8310. Are there any suggestions to try before returning to NI?

Hi rdtech,

 

Error -239021 usually indicates that some piece of hardware failed. Does this problem occur with other PXI modules in your chassis? If you are able to isolate this problem to the PXI-5402, by swapping module slots or even testing the module in another chassis system, I would send your module in for repair.
