I have a NI-PCI-5421 signal generator installed in a PC. In MAX, it fails self test with error 239022. What does this error mean and how can I fix it?

There is most likely a problem with the device's onboard FPGA. I would contact NI Technical support (http://www.ni.com/support/) via phone. You most likely need to send the device back to NI for repair.
