why is SCC FT MODULE USED?

i am about to use SCC FT module for one of my applications?what is this device function and under which situations is this useful?

Hello,

The NI SCC-FT01 is a feedthrough module that offers direct connection to analog input or output, digital I/O and Counter channels of the E Series DAQ device. It also includes breadboard area for development of custom signal conditioning circuitry for analog input, analog output, digital I/O, and GPCTR channels of the E Series DAQ device.

I recommend you to read the User Manual of the FT01. You'll find there a more detailed description.
