I want to use strain gauge to measure soil anchorage in a centrifuge box. The diameter of anchorage model would be 3 mm with first natural frequency of, say, 4 kHz. The anchorage model is subject to an impulse (e.g., hammer test) during the testing program.
Does anybody have experience dealing with similar applications? Or can anyone give me some ideas on how to choose strain gauge which would be best suitable for this particular application. Many thanks in advance.
