There are a lot of Type K (or other TC) to 10V signal conditioner for industrial use on the market.

any specific requirement?

TI and linear have ICs to do the conversion, if you want to heat the solder iron 🙂

Hi Gheit,

NI not really offering thermocouple signal conditioners for the PCI-6221. If you would like an easy solution from us, you should have a look at this white paper: http://www.ni.com/white-paper/7108/en/
I think either the USB-TC01 or one of the Thermocouple Data logger should do the job.

For the rest, I agree with Henrik that there are plenty of signal conditioners on the market. When choosing one, you should first think about the resolution you need and have a close look on the accuracy specification.
Cold-junction-compensation is a useful feature to have:  http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/E332E1D829059FB5862570AE005066B3
