Signal Express: White noise filter

Hello all,

Im am working with LabVIEW Signal Express and I have a noisy signal that I am trying to work with. I would like to filter it of its white noise, i.e. "cut off" the bottom part of the signal when I'm looking at the frequency domain.

Does anyone know how to do this, or how to work with frequency spectrum of signals at all?

I've been seraching the internet for a while now but haven't been able to find anything on that topic.

I'd be very grateful for some help.

Hi Alex

You can use a filter to remove certian frequencies from your signal. You say you want to cut off the bottom, so then use a highpass to filter out the low frequencies.

Hi there,

I too have a lot of noise in my signal. Where abouts can you find the filters? Is it in the step menu?

It may also be the case that it is far too sensitive, is there somwhere to turn down the sensitivity of strain gauge measurement.

Thanks

Marcus
