NI 9234 for general purpose voltage measurement

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi all,

I have 4 AC/DC currrent clamp Fluke i30s that give differential voltages in the + -3V range. Additionally I have an NI9234 module with NI-9188 chassis from a previous project.

Q1: Is there any reason not to acquire these signals with the NI9234?

Q2: In general, is there any reason not to use the NI9234 in general purpose voltage measurement applications?

Q3: Should I buy the NI9239 module?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Since you already have the 9234, I would just use that.  Just make sure the IEPE is OFF (IEPE puts a DC current on the lines to power sensors).
