NAMUR sensor signal conditioning NI9402

Hi, I have a gas meter with a NAMUR high frequency inductive pulse generator that i wish to connect to NI9402 module. Please can you give me some advice on what i need to achieve this ?

I believe i will need to amplify the signal but unsure of best method

Hi, this meter outputs an analog signal right? This link may give you an idea http://www.tektron.ie/namur1.htm

I just don't understand how you intend to read that with a NI9402, since it is a digital I/O module, I think you need an analog input ADC to read that.
