I want to measure direction of the car while sitting in that, without using GPS. Is there any solution?

Please pose a solution so that I can make my required Electronic Component

- Before GPS we had the instrument called compass.
It began with a cork-floating needle and evolved to digital compasses, both pointing towards the earth's magnetic north. A short time I worked at a company that designed them for yachts. Due to all the metal inside a car I believe you should do some trimming.
If you take this, combined with an inertial sensor (for the relative fast turns), you should be able to succeed.
- Mobile-phone signal-strengths of base-stations should give rough position info, but that's beyond my knowledge.

- If you need additional info on speed, I read an article that proposed to use the bumps in the road to measure speed (first bump on front wheels, then on rear wheels) by using an acceleration-sensor.
- Early Carin sy
stems used a sensor at the brake-disk for speed-info.

So there are as ever, numeral sensor-options.
