Embedded High Speed Monitoring and Datalogging Reference Application

This reference design provides a CompactRIO application with focus on embedded high speed data acquisition, monitoring and data logging.

 

The data acquisition code in LabVIEW FPGA must be customized for the C Series modules that are used in the application. The data must be streamed to disk and important features must be  extracted and logged to file. The files that are generated need to be moved off the controller and the local hard drive must be monitored to prevent it from filling up. Finally the application must be outfitted with headless configuration and communication abilities.

  • NI-RIO 15.0 or later
  • NI CompactRIO Waveform Reference Library (v4.1 or later)
  • NI Software Watchdog (v1.0 or later)
  • NI GXML (v1.41 or later)
  • NI STM (v2.1 or later)
