Hi,
I am using NI module 9201 in cRIO 9073 to acquire analog i/p from a signal conditioner (8B38-02) which has a BW of 8KHz. Currently I am acquiring data at the rate of 4Hz because of which there is lot of noise. Since the BW of the the analog signal is 8KHz I have to acquire the sample atleast like 16KS/s. I am not sure if the FIFO can handle this much of data. Please suggest a solution for this.

My name is Mike Watts and I am an Applications Engineer at National Instruments. I have a few questions for you that will hopefully give me a better understanding of your system. Are you acquiring data using the CompactRIO Scan Mode or LabVIEW FPGA Mode? CompactRIO Scan Mode does have sample rate restrictions that limit the NI 9201's sampling rate capabilities. Also, would it be possible for you to post either a screenshot of your LabVIEW code or a zipped copy of your LabVIEW project? Thanks!
