Solved!

Sir/Madam,

Note Labview 2012 SP1 installed about 2 weeks ago.,

Crash occured when compiling a fpga vi which has worked satisfactorally in the past.

When I rebooted and went to recomplile the message "LabVIEW FPGA: An internal software error in the LabVIEW FPGA Module has occurred" see attached pic of popup.

I reinstalled Labview in its entirety and backed out the changes I made to the vi but still get the same message.

Thanks in advance

Daryl

Turns out that the issue was in the VI and not LabView FPGA module as the message may indicate. I created a blank vi, cut and pasted elements into this from the error vi and it recompiled and it ran just fine.

Somehow the vi got corrupted internally.

Thanks it is fixed.

I was trying to compile a LabVIEW code (FPGA) with the configuration:
- LabVIEW 2012
- FPGA module Installed
- Real-time module installed
- cRIO-9004 on cRIO-9102 chassis
Earlier I was getting a compilation error of "Xilinx 10.1" required. I installed Xilinx 10.1 on my PC now getting another compilation error :

LabVIEW FPGA: An internal software error in the LabVIEW FPGA Module has occurred. Please contact National Instruments technical support at ni.com/support.
LabVIEW FPGA: An internal software error in the compile worker has occurred.

Error -61330 occurred at niFpgaCompileWorker_ProcessStatusPipe.vi:1<-niFpgaCompileWorker_GetStatus.vi<-niFpgaCompile_Worker.vi:1

Possible reason(s):
LabVIEW FPGA: An internal software error in the compile worker has occurred.

Please do tell me a suitable way to cure this problem.

Hi,

I get the following error right at the beginning of the compilation :

LabVIEW FPGA : An internal software error in the LabVIEW FPGA Module hax occured. Please contact National Instruments technical support...

niFPGACompile_Dialog.vi

<APPEND>

Additional Information:

Original error message:

---------------------------------------------

Error - 61457 occurred at niFpgaCompileDialog_GetStatusFromFile.vi

Possible reason(s) :

LabVIEW FPGA : The compilation status file is missing or currupt.

Complete call chain :

niFpgaCompileDialog_GetStatusFromFile.vi

niFpgaCompileDialog_ParseJobList.vi

niFpgaCompileDialog_Dialog.vi

I tried desinstall all National Instrument software and reinstall them and still get the same message prior to compilation. Didn't find any post on this error.

Anyone can help?

Thanks a lot!

Hello,

Since this thread has been resolved, to get more views in order to find a solution I suggest making a new thread to get this issue resolved faster. Threads that are already resolved do not get many views.
