Does the error also have a description that explains which part of the function LabVIEW was unable to handle? This error could be thrown for a number of reasons:
1. Typically Error 7 is thrown when LabVIEW cannot locate the file you are requesting. In this case, the error could be due to your remote path or your local path references. Could you double-check that these are correct?
2. The FTP server is disabled by default on your Real-Time target and you cannot use it in safe mode. Ensure that you have manually installed the FTP server to your target using the Add/Remove Software feature in NI MAX. This may be helpful:

3. Also, FTP is deprecated as of 2013, so NI recommends using WebDAV as the file transfer mechanism for improved security. These documents might be helpful:
