channel emulator

Solved!

Hello,

Im trying to use NI-pxie-5644R VST for the purpose of channel emulation. The frequency of operation of my RF device (which is TEXAS Instruments SUB 1GHZ Modules) is 868MHZ..Basically,what i want to do is to add different channel fading models to Signal coming from TX Antennae of Module's transmitter and output the RF Out from VST to RX of module to measure parameters like PER(Packet error rate,Signal strength, etc).Does the channel emulator supports this frequency band of 868 MHZ and is there any problems related to fading models for this Frequency? Please help..

                                                                                                      Thank you..

eswar94,

Do you have the VST channel emulation example installed and running

https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-26423

Are you seeing specific issues with it?

What help are you looking for?

I assume you have looked over the theory of it's models to determine if they will meet your needs.

http://www.ni.com/example/31556/en/

And, they are open to your modification, assuming you have LabVIEW FPGA and the necessary skill set.

BTW, there is a newer version of this example that includes a bug fix.  You should download the most recent example through the VI Package Manager, where you will also find versions for LV 2013 and 2014.
