PXI-5600 downconverter only

Hi

   I want to use PXI-5600 as only a downconverter with PCI-5640R IF tranceiver as a digitizer. Can any one help me that how to use PXI-5600 in downconvert only mode (without running a digitizer like PXI-5620 or PXI-5142 in the PXI chassis).I found different examples in which PXI-5600 is used effectively as PXI-5660 (5600 as a downconverter and 5620 as a digitizer) and as PXI-5661 (5600 as a downconverter and 5142 as a digitizer) but i want to use PXI-5600 alone to downconvert the Rf signal which then will be fed to PCI-5640R .

Hello,

If you download and install the latest version of NI-RFSA , you will find an example installed in the usual <LabVIEW Directory>\examples\instr\niRFSA folder titled RFSA Downconverter with External Digitizer. This will illustrate how to program a PXI-5600 as a standalone device using the NI-RFSA driver.

As a history - NI-RFSA 2.1 and on will have the appropriate support for "Downconverter Only" mode using the PXI-5600.
