I'm working with NI 5663e in I/Q Mode. I've already used this in experiments to acquire data with 35 MS/s and system worked so far very fine. Now I've tried to update my LabVIEW Program which controls the hardware to increase the bandwidth. I ran into a problem. After checking the manal/specs (click me) this seems to be the effect of using an input frequency (or tunded frequency) of less than 330 MHz (we are working with f~250MHz).
My questions:
1) Is it possible to change this? Could I get 50MS/s or more at a input frequency of less than 330 MHz?
And if this is not possible:
2) The NI program RFSA (which was delivered with the hardware) which we have always used to check the hardware seems not to have any problems with even the full 75MS/s at an input frequency of 250 MHz. Why is this than working?
