Hi everyone,
I am doing a project on MIMO (5 antennas) - UWB (a transmitter with bandwidth between 6 and 9 GHz). I have read that the minimum separation required between two antennas so that the signals undergo independent fading is half the wavelength of the center frequency (7.5GHz) of the signal (2.15 centimetres), and the maximum 4*wavelenghth (almost 17.1 centimetres).
Is that right?
Can anyone explain the reason for it?, relevant links or papers will also be greatly appreciated.
I also have some doubts about the antennas predisposition, if I can set it in an array or if its significantly important.
Thanks.
