Can we use the WCDMA measurement suite with 3rd party test equipment

Hi,

I have 3rd partry test equipment (R&S) that can do arbitary waveform generation, I was wondering if there is anyway to utilize the WCDMA measurement suite (or any LabVIEW software / toolkits) to generate and analyze WCDMA signals (EVM, ACPR, Frequency Accuracy, etc)

Thanks!

Hello roundheadedkid

I see that this question has remained unanswered for quite some time.

Is this issue still open?

One thing that could be very interesting is knowing how you're currently communicating from LabVIEW with the arbitrary waveform generator.

Several Toolkits (eg. Modulation Toolkit) have VI's that you can directly use.

Have you tried the evaluation version of these toolkits?

Hi Thierry,

We are communicationg via GPIB as of now. Can we use the Modulation Toolkit to make EVM measurements ? Can we push CDMA waveoforms through GPIB?

Thanks!

Re: Can we use the WCDMA measurement suite with 3rd party test equipment

Hello,

Can you send me information about the exact device you're using?

If this is possible, I would also be interested in seeing how you currently are doing the communication in LabVIEW.

This would maybe even allow me to optimize your code (if needed).
