pci and pxi

I am pretty new  here and will be needing everyone that can  a helping hand.

I work with Caritas University, and we have Edibon equipment and which is not working optimally.

I happens to check the system and found out that the Thar 22 that is working has pxi card while the ones not working has pci card.

I have been given mandate to make the equipment work. The supplier blocked the communication i was having with edibon. we are stranded. need your help, because i know the software is from your company.

Hi Bongo77,

Thanks for posting to the Forums! In order to provide help or suggestions, we'll need to get some more information from you about your setup:

Could you tell us the specific model numbers of all the hardware you're using?

You said you have "Edibon equipment which is not working optimally" - what does this mean? Is it operating slowly? Is it timing out? What specifically is not optimal about it?

You mentioned that you're using software from National Instruments. Are you using LabVIEW? If so, what version and package? If not, what software are you using?

If you could give us a detailed explanation of what hardware you have and what problem you're having, then we will be able to offer suggestions and troubleshooting steps.

Thanks!

Thank you so much for your reply. I am amazed with NI response and commitment.

We have the following equipment from Edibon:

    1. TCR B/C - TCRC  for refrigeration cycle

    2.  TH SERIES - THAR22 for thermodynamics

    3.  FF SERIES - Physics 3D.

The software we are using and Labview from NI hence my contacting you.

What i mean by not working optimally is that they are good but not working because the PCI or PXI which got bad the day it was been installed some years back has kept it down.

We have written to Edibon, but they seems to be more concerned with the agent here in Nigeria that bought and installed it. we have also tried to link with the agent but to no avail. Edibon replied our mail once and stopped replying.

The equipment are just lying down here in Caritas University, Amorji-Nike Enugu state Nigeria.

If you can do anything to help we shall be so happy.

Thanks for this forum

Hi Bongo77,

This forum post is a year old. You will get more attention into your issue if you create a new forum page.

It is still unclear what you are trying to do in LabVIEW and what is not working correctly. What do you mean by "the PCI and PXI which got bad". More users will be able to help you if you can further describe what you are trying to accomplish and what is not working. Are you getting any errors when you are running your program? Which hardware are you trying to control in LabVIEW? What drivers do you have installed to communicate with the hardware?

If you make a new forum page. I would recommend adding all the details that you can on what the project is and what specifically is not working.
