monitoring 48 units with modbus over ethernet

Hello, I am trying to spec and set up a production burn in system.  The product that I am going to burn in has modbus over ethernet capability and I plan on testing 48 units at a time.  I plan on using a 48 port ethernet switch between the PC and the units under test.  What NI hardware and software can I use to implement this test setup and monitor the dut?  Thanks in advance for any responses.

Hi Lane,

NI-VISA will let you do Modbus communication over TCP/IP, and you can use LabVIEW for this. (LabVIEW also ships with NI-VISA.). The link here provides a Modbus library that you can use to get started. You can also use the LabVIEW DSC Module; see the link here for some more information. Hope this helps.
