how to sample a voltage signal correctly

Dear Experts,
I have a slight trouble in sampling a voltage waveform,  I have measured it using an oscilloscope and know that it is a 50Hz frequency waveform, with a rms value of 137V which works out to be a peak voltage of 230V.  But when I try to acquired through my 6052E through one of my analogue input ports, I have got this unusual waveform back.  Im not sure why im not getting the correct signal, would there be some kind of sampling issues im not performing correctly?  Please advise, I have attached the simple vi and the waveform I got from the software and from the excel I tried to record to.  Thanks for your time.

Best Wishes,
Cazza

Hi Cazza,

What signal conditionaing are you putting on the input signal?
The card you have can only accept a -10 to 10v signal.

Please can you confirm this and then we can look into the issue further.

Hi JamesC,
Sorry about the lateness of the reply, I believe I have solved the issue as I was putting in the wrong sampling rate, I understand that the card takes -10 to 10 and I have stepped down the voltage before entering my DAQ card.  Thanks for your time.
