how to install nipalk.sys

Hello,

I have a pci device, with a .inf file created from VISA driver development wizard.
All works well.
I want to use this board another PC without Labview installed.
Of course, we need to install drivers. I saw the drivers name is "nipalk.sys", but where can I found this file. Is it installed from Ni-visa ? or from another software component ?

Hello,
nipalk.sys should be installed by NI-PAL driver. NI-PAL is an hardware abstraction layer used by all NI drivers. You can't install NI-PAL alone, but if you install NI-VISA, NI-PAL will be installed.
