Why my acquisition starts some seconds after my run command?

Hi guys,

I need to understand because during the acquisition with my PXI devices,  my acquisition starts some seconds after run command  and also it stops some seconds after my stop command: it means that the recordered data are different from the data that I want to evaluate.

How is it possible to solve this problem?

Configuring the AI channels and setting the scan rate programatically before you start an acquisition will take a finite amount of time

Hence the delay that you see

The solution would be to

1. Ensure that you start the acquisition prior to the occurance of the event that you want to monitor/observe

2. Use any suitable DAQ triggering method
