I have a funny feeling I may have spoken to you on the phone earlier, but just incase this is a different Dave, (!!) you need to boot the PXI system into safe mode and then check what's installed on the remote target in MAX (right click on software in the remote system, and select Add/Remove Software). Have a look at the software installed on the system; is DAQmx installed and VISA etc) What cards do you have in the system??
