Triggering PXI Counter Timer from SMB connector on PXI Controller

I have a PXI-8196 Controller in a PXI-1045 chassis with 3 PXI-6602 Timer Counter cards among other PXI I/O cards. I would like to set up three counter timers to be triggered off of a signal connected to the SMB connector on the front of the controller. How would I do this in Labwindos CVI?

Unfortunately this connector can only be used by the watchdog functionality of LabVIEW RT if the controller is running RT. Instead, you can certainly route a single signal into one of your countersand route it to the others through the backplane. Would this be an option?
