Synchronizing PXI-5421 AWG and PXI-4462

Hello,

I'm using Labview8.0 and a PXI-1042Q chassis with PXI-5421AWG (Slot 2) and PXI-4462 (Slot 3).

The 2 cards should be started at exactly the same time.

I have succeeded in routing the Sample-Clock of the 4462 to 5421 via PXI Trigger Line 1.  But it's impossible to route the sample clock of 5421 to 4462.I don’t know why.

I'd also like to know.Are the sample clocks and reference clocks on the 2 carts automatically be synchronized with the PXI 10 MHz clock of the chassis, when they are identified within the MAX?

Any help would be very much appreciated.
